  Food is delicious, soups are my favorite, but everything else is also very good. Just keep in mind, "mild" means "medium", "medium" means "hot", and the "hot" I didn't dare to try yet.

  This was a great restaurant find! We were a little nervous because it looked like a hole in the wall but once the food came out all that vanished. All the food we ordered looked great and tasted fabulous. Helpings were generous, and price was normal! I highly recommended Bangkok Cafe when you are in Anchorage! Thank you for serving such great food!

  The owner seems very sweet and friendly. The food is good, too. I've yet to be disappointed.
  
  However, the Pad Thai is very different from any Pad Thai I"ve ever ordered -- I don't think they use the traditional tamarind sauce. If they do, I think it's overtaken by the spiciness of the dish. I love spicy food, but man .. they make it spicy! "Mild" made my mouth burn within the first few bites! So even though it didn't taste like normal Pad Thai, it was still good... I just had to chase it down with lots of water.
